I've got three.
Ubuntu 7.04
Ubuntu 7.10
Linux Mint 4.0
How many Linux Distros have you got installed on one Hard Drive?
Debian GNU/Linux unstable branch
FreeBSD 6.2
Debin GNU/Hurd K14
But I'm only familiar with Linux. The other two, I only installed recently. And what? K14 is now oldish. I'm still taking baby steps in learning to use it. Soon gotta upgrade to its latest release.
As for FreeBSD, I use it as a backup system. I know for sure that I'll mess up the other two so badly one day. So I put this FreeBSD as a backup system just to keep the PC running in that time. But not conversant with this as well. Many commands seem familiar, so looks a bit easier than GNU/Hurd.
Reply:That depends if I'm allowed to include my virtual machines ;-) One physical and 6 virtual for me.
Reply:only one at a time for me I go low tech when I want to dostro hop I buy cheap HDs off ebay and put differant distros on till I am content I am not much of a computer geek I just fumble around I have never been able to get anything to work right from the command line not on any distro never got yum to work never got rpm to work forget portage. so basicly I am just a bone head but I am smart enough to know that ubuntu based distros like linux mint solve all my problems I am free of viruses and lovin life
Reply:I had a triple boot system 10 days ago (xp/kubuntu/edubuntu)but something got screwed up.Now I have dual boot(xp/edubuntu)
Correct me If i m wrong but I think there's a problem in running KDE and gnome as a dual boot.If I have gnome already installed and then I run kde as live cd then both the GUIs get screwed and the edubuntu partition starts in command line mode,,saying that there's some prob with the GUI.
Thats why I buried my greed to have two and settled down with one linux partition.
Reply:I plan on puting Mandrake and Ubantu on my computer next week. My dad wouldn't let me re-fomat until I got a second computer, which arrived yesterday. Hehe, me love my new computer *hugs her laptop* but my old one will not be neglected.
Reply:I only have one. I hardly ever dual-boot linux distros. When I'm in the mood to try out a bunch I usually just completely format and install
